Uzbekistan: A Safe and Unaffected Destination

We would like to reassure our guests and partners that Uzbekistan remains entirely unaffected by the current regional situation. Our national airspace is open, our borders are secure, and our cities remain peaceful, welcoming destinations far removed from the conflict zones. Hotel Bankir Khiva continues to operate at our usual 5-star standard, and all local tours and services are proceeding as scheduled.

 

Special Concessions for Affected Travelers

We are offering specific flexibility for those whose travel is directly disrupted by the "Big 3" Gulf carriers and their regional counterparts.

 

Eligible Airlines (Middle East Routes Only): Emirates, Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, Oman Air, Kuwait Airways, Gulf Air, Flydubai, Air Arabia, Jazeera Airways, Zagros Airlines, El Al.

 

Uzbekistan Carriers (Middle East Flights Only): Uzbekistan Airways, Centrum Air, and Qanot Sharq (specifically for flights originating from Middle Eastern hubs).

 

Requirements for Rebooking or Cancellations

To ensure fairness and maintain our commitment to our partners, concessions will be granted only upon receipt of a Verification Dossier containing:

 

Proof of Flight Cancellation/Suspension: Official notice from the airline.

 

Traveler Details: Full names (matching the reservation), passport details, and the original date of travel.

 

Full Itinerary: Confirming a transit or origin point within the affected Gulf/Middle East region.

 

Important Policy Notes

Standard Terms: Guests traveling on non-listed airlines, or those arriving from unaffected regions (such as Europe, Asia, or the Americas via non-Gulf hubs), are required to abide by our existing cancellation policy.

 

Voluntary Deferrals: In cases where a flight remains operational but a traveler chooses to voluntarily postpone their trip, the booking will not be eligible for special concessions or refunds.
